Our mission is to provide a place where parents may confidently expect their children to be lovingly cared for in a teaching environment that includes respect, encouragement, fun, discipline and safety.
Lake Highlands Baptist Church MDO and Pre-school program has been a part of our community for over 14 years. We are state licensed with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. We are here to serve your children in a loving environment with wonderful teachers.
Our program accepts children from 12 months of age to Pre-Kindergarten. Children in our 3 and 4 year-old classes must attend Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Other options are available for the younger children.
A full curriculum is offered to our 2 and 3 year-old and Pre-K classes. The curriculum features basic skills such as letter writing and recognition, number writing and recognition, as well as color and shape identification. Our students also enjoy music, bible stories and computer activities. Our Pre-K class learns how to use the library and takes field trips to exciting places. We prepare our Pre-Kindergarten children with the basic skills that are needed to enter any kindergarten program. Children completing our Pre-K program celebrate their achievement with a graduation ceremony!
